Business Profile

Belfast-based tuition for primary-age pupils Catapult Tuition is a new tuition service based in East Belfast. Its sole focus is to improve the performance, and therefore confidence, of primary pupils in the two key curriculum areas of learning: Literacy and Maths. Whether your child is an 11-year-old preparing for the Transfer Test or a P1 pupil who is only beginning to read and recognise numbers, Trevor Veale has the necessary experience, skills and commitment to make a difference.

One-to-one tuition sessions are carried out each weekday afternoon/evening. Each session lasts 50 minutes.

Small-group sessions for Transfer Test revision and practice are carried out in Saturdays. These sessions last two hours each. A maximum of four children can be registered for these classes.

One-to-one sessions cost £25. Transfer Test group sessions cost £40. Both of these services include detailed video feedback on your child's progress. You can also pay for five sessions and get a sixth session free of charge. See www.catapult-tuition.com for more details and online booking.

Trevor is a qualified primary school teacher, presently in P6, with eight years' teaching experience. This experience has covered all age-groups from P1 to P7. His only concern is to ensure that each child reaches his or her potential. In a classroom setting your child's needs cannot be met 100% of the time. With regular, weekly tutoring, your child becomes the sole focus of the teacher. Successful progress can be the only outcome.
